Published: 7 March 2025

Kent Police Community Safety Unit are investigating the ongoing issues with off-road and nuisance bikes in Wrotham and surrounding areas. These bikes are often ridden in an anti-social manner, putting both riders, drivers and pedestrians at risk and are ridden without protective clothing, registration plates or the necessary documentation.

The police are seeking your support by checking CCTV/Ring doorbells and provide any relevant footage to Police via the Kent Police Website or email using the address below so necessary action can be taken against offenders to make Wrotham and surrounding areas a safer place to be.

  • Dangerous or Reckless Use: This includes driving or riding in a way that risks injury to yourself, other road users, cyclists, or pedestrians, or that causes criminal damage.
  • Intimidation: Driving or riding in a way that intimidates other road users or the community.
  • Loud Noise: Deliberately creating loud noise from engines or music, or large amounts of exhaust or tire smoke.
