St George’s Hall has reduced hire slots since the COVID-19 pandemic. 

A traditional village hall that used to be the assembly hall for the village primary school. Tall ceilings, oak parquet flooring and a stage. There are 17 tables approx 1800 x 750mm, 81 upholstered and additional 20 hard stacking chairs.

There is a large commercial style kitchen with a 6-hob cooker and oven, two sinks and a large island with floor standing storage units and work area in the centre.

The hall floor area is 13m x 8.5m (42.5’ x 28’) and the stage is 3.6m x 8.5m (12’ x 28’). There is a disabled entrance at the southern end of the building and there are ladies, men’s and disabled toilets that include baby change facilities and electric wall heaters.

Rubbish from Hires

Please note that we have no facilities for the disposal of rubbish arising from hires. Please be aware that all rubbish must be taken home or recycled appropriately.

Parking

There is no off-street parking for either venue. However, there is unrestricted on road parking around the Recreation Ground, which is convenient for both venues.
