Public Litter Bins

The public street litter bins located throughout the village are maintained and emptied by TMBC. Regular collections are carried out either daily, twice weekly or weekly depending on the bin location. To report a damaged or overflowing bin please visit https://www.tmbc.gov.uk/bins-waste/report-problem/2

Household Waste

NORMAL collections from TMBC run for the following:

Fridays Weekly

Small Black – Food waste

Friday Fortnightly – alternate

Large Black – domestic waste

Friday Fortnightly – alternate

Large Green – mixed recycling (plastic, tin & glass)

Green box – paper and cardboard

Wednesdays Fortnightly

Large Brown – garden waste

CHRISTMAS 2025 collections from TMBC run for the following:

Waste, recycling and garden waste collections will run on schedule up to and including Wednesday 24 December. They will change from Thursday 25 December over the festive period. All collections will be back to normal from Monday 12 January 2026.

Please put your bins out by 6am on your changed collection day.

Clinical waste collections will continue as normal on the usual Tuesday collection day over this period.
